Summary
About the Role
Major accountabilities:
- Operate responsibly in project budgeting and manufacturing cost control.
- • Understand and implement Novartis accounting procedures and internal controls in a manner consistent with Japan, working with the global organization.
- • Build steady and strong relationships with both domestic and international stakeholders to provide high quality and timely services.
- • Ensure the integrity of data provided by the production team and provide value-added analysis.
- • Provide quality financial analysis that supports and appropriately manages the product costing process to improve
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above (any major)
- At least five years' experience in cost control/management accounting in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced business level English and fluent Japanese
- Must have a solid cultural awareness of corporate culture and be a team player.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience in setting up a new plant finance team is desirable. (Any industry, size).
- Experience in management accounting in a pharmaceutical company is desirable.
- Level 2 or above in Japanese bookkeeping if preferable
