Summary

-Designs and coordinates the overall direction of clinical development projects. Evaluates and analyzes clinical studies, using statistical analysis systems, such as SAS, as appropriate. Coordinates activities of associates and investigators to ensure compliance with protocol and overall pre-clinical objectives. Maintains a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with clinical literature and participates in project team meetings. Typically travels to field sites to supervise and coordinate clinical studies. May be responsible for planning clinical trial registration and disclosure postings. May write protocols. May act as liaison between clinical operations and vendors, including contact research organization employees as required.

About the Role

Major accountabilities:

  • Responsible for providing operational and program level support assitance for clinical trials.
  • Assist the clinical research team in preparing safety reports document for Investigators and other stakeholders -Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor and personnel in department or group -Normally receives detailed instructions on all work -Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)
